*Control Growth: Sharon will stop out-of-control development, continue to hold developers accountable, and protect open space.

*Reduce Traffic Gridlock: Sharon will continue working to expand VRE and other public transportation, fight to bring Metro to Prince William County, and get our fair share of funding from Richmond and Washington.

*Confront Illegal Immigration: Sharon will address neighborhood overcrowding that results from illegal immigration. She supports holding businesses accountable when they knowingly hire illegal immigrants and fully funding local police so they can combat increasing gang violence.

*Improve Our Schools: Sharon will work to increase teacher salaries, reduce school overcrowding by keeping class sizes low, and ensure the availability of adequate facilities.
